Friday - Welcome Party

501 Nutt StJoin us downtown for an evening cocktail party to welcome everyone to Wilmington and share some toasts before our big day. We’ll serve heavy hors d'oeuvres and have live music.

Saturday - Cocktail Hour & Ceremony
3-5 PM
Hotel Ballast Riverwalk Patio
301 N Water StWe’re having a riverfront ceremony and cocktail hour overlooking the Cape Fear River. We’ll be on the patio behind the Hotel Ballast right along the Riverwalk.

Saturday - Reception & Dancing
5-10 PM
Just a few blocks from the river, we’re renting out an entire brewery to host our reception, complete with dinner and dancing.

Sunday - Farewell Brunch
10 AM - 1 PM
AView Rooftop Restaurant
501 Nutt St, 7th FloorThe party continues—just at a slower pace. Meet us on the rooftop of the Aloft Hotel the morning after our wedding for pastries, coffee, and optional mimosas as we say farewell.

We’re planning events Friday evening through Sunday morning, so we’d love if you’re able to stay the entire weekend. We’ll also recommend places to visit and things to do in Wilmington, NC if you’d like to come for even longer.

The Wilmington airport (ILM) is conveniently located 15 minutes from downtown. Ubers and hotel shuttles are available to take you into town and to your hotel.

Everyone is welcome to bring a plus one—we’ll collect names and final headcount with the formal invitations.

Our welcome party (Friday) and farewell brunch (Sunday) are kid-friendly.
However, we kindly ask that our wedding ceremony & reception on Saturday be an adults-only celebration. We adore your little ones, but we’d love for you to relax and celebrate with us — consider it a well-deserved night off!
For those traveling with children, we’ll be sharing recommendations for trusted local sitters and can help coordinate childcare options. Please don’t hesitate to reach out in the coming months if you’d like assistance making arrangements — we’re happy to help.
